Historical Villa Fiat in Forte dei Marmi Is Sold

The historical Villa Anna, mostly known as Villa Fiat, because of its former owner family, the Agnellis, who also own the namesake Italian car-producing company, has recently been sold for 30 million euros.

An italo-swiss banker purchased the luxurious residence in Forte dei Marmi, Tuscany, following his purchase of another Villa, standing right next to Villa Fiat, just a few months ago.

Villa Fiat is a true sumptuous gem nestled in the splendid setting of Forte dei Marmi

The 1,000-square-meter building is tucked into a fascinating park winding its way through a 5,000-square-meter area. It includes thirteen bedrooms, seventeen bathrooms, wide halls and glass windows lending a refined, prestigious elegance to it.

For more than 30 years, the Agnelli family used to spend their summer holidays in Versilia, to enjoy long and pleasant days at sea.

Beyond Villa Anna, the Turin-based family owned Villa Costanza too, another wonderful residence standing on Forte dei Marmi’s seafront, full of typical Tuscanian classy charme, later turned into a luxury hotel more than 75 years ago.

About Villa Anna, it really seems that it was used by the Agnelli family as a ceremonial residence and a venue for important business meetings with Fiat managers and executives.

Forte dei Marmi, Versilia’s True Gem

Forte dei Marmi is one of the most exclusive seasides in Italy.

On the coast of Versilia, Tuscany, it has always been considered as one of the most beloved and appreciated destinations by tourists who decide to spend their holidays in Italy. This location is particularly attended by important celebrities and wealthy dignitaries, who love spending pleasant relaxing moments in an Italian setting of luxury and total elegance.

Originally, Forte dei Marmi was a port town used as a point of departure for cargo boats to transport marble coming from quarries not far from the town, like for example the famous Carrara quarries. Later, the town began to be turned into an elitist and prestigious location, with the building of majestic villas and sumptuous gardens, surrounded by lush, green pine forests overlooking the sea.
This turn of events for the town was immediately related to tourism, even from the late 19th century, when important aristocratic members and remarkable industrialists of that time began to spend their holidays there with their families.

Today Forte dei Marmi is a renowned and entertaining tourist location full of luxury hotels and clubs. This town is also perfect for shopping lovers, with its downtown streets teeming with high-fashion stores and luxury boutiques. The sea, above all, is what attracts tourists from all over the world the most. Beaches are made of fine sand grains and beach resorts are equipped with every comfort possible, granting tourists a relaxing time and meeting every kind of their needs.

Forte dei Marmi is the right place for those who love living in a fresh setting of luxury, full of relaxation and much amusement.
